Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground turkey

  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats

  • 1 onion, finely chopped

  • 2 carrots, grated

  • 2 celery stalks, finely chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

  • 2 tablespoons ketchup

  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 2 eggs, beaten

Preheat the oven to 375°F.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, oats, onion, carrots, celery, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, thyme, salt, pepper, and eggs. Mix well.

Press the mixture into a greased loaf pan.

Bake for 1 hour, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Notes

To make this recipe gluten-free, use certified gluten-free oats and ensure that the Worcestershire sauce and ketchup are also gluten-free.
